1st General Assembly of FUNCOAT project
The first general assemby of the project FUNCOAT was held at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Sevilla (ICMSE-CSIC) the 2nd and 3rd of July of 2009.
The research consortium FUNCOAT, consisting of 17 academic groups, have met in Seville on the 2nd-3rd of July 2009, in order to discuss and plan the major tasks of the different Work-Packages.
FUNCOAT started by december 2008 and will undertake its 6 work-packages over 5 years, till end of 2013. During the assembly two public seminars were held: (1) 'Magnetism and Magnetoplasmonic' by Dr Alfonso Cebollada (IMM-CSIC) and (2) 'Characterisation techniques based on high energy ion beams' by Prof. Aurelio Climent (UAM). More than 40 researchers attended the events.
